Copy writing versus translations
The essential difference between translating and copy writing is that in translation work you always work from an existing source text. The concept and the structure of the text are in fact already established.

Accuracy above all
Translation projects are, moreover, usually projects in which the creative aspect is less important. Although, by definition, we do not provide literal translations, the source text will nevertheless shine through in the new, translated version. This is actually expressly required for a number of jobs, like legal and scientific documents where there is little room for the translator to 'interpret' the texts!

It could be that you have a translated document but that you are still not entirely certain about the translation. In that case you can ask our agency for a second opinion. Indeed, if the material has to go to the printer's a double check of this sort can avoid a lot of misery afterwards.

For companies which often have smaller translation jobs to be done, taking out a subscription has its attractions. Some immediate advantages: no supplements for urgent work and no minimum rates.

Certified translations
Sometimes a sworn declaration of accuracy is needed for legal and notarial documents so it's good to know that we have translators who are authorised by the courts to issue these sworn declarations of accuracy (certifications).
